Vintage 1938 Ollendorff Watch

Vintage Ollendorff Watch, circa 1938

This extra long yellow gold-filled curved wristwatch from about 1938 is in excellent condition. It's a great piece of deco style. The dial has been expertly refinished. Ollendorff was a finisher and much beloved producer of high grade watches that have been generally forgotten since the 1950's. Our watchmaker believes this is a "sleeper", not having brand recognition but definitely on the level with Gruen or Bulova, in the upper-middle to higher price range. The Ollendorff Watch Company was originally founded in1868 by Isidor Ollendorff in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
